Projects we are currently busy with:
Distribution Board preparation for Solar, Carlswald Estate Midrand. This involved replacing with surface mount DB and rewire.
Original 3ph board, note: no space to add extra MCB for inverter.
Flush mount board removed with switchgear, note CT for generator at red phase. Pipes chased in to allow AC cables to and from inverters.
AC in and out cables from DB board, this will feed the inverter and return AC to the board.
Rewired DB, note the extra MCB for AC return from inverter and also 2 contactors top right. This cuts out heavy load circuits i.e. stoves, pumps etc. in the event of mains failure to prevent undue load on batteries.
